The Champion

Once, there was a child who is attending a toy racing car race. Truly festive atmosphere that afternoon. because, this is the final round. Only 4 left now and they exhibit any toy cars owned. Everything is homemade, because, that's the rules.

There was a boy named Mark. His car was not special, but it was included in four children who enter the final. Compared to all of his opponent, Mark car is the most imperfect. Some children doubted the power of the car to race against other cars.

Well, indeed, the car was not so interesting. With a simple wooden top and slightly pulsating light. certainly not comparable with luxury trimmings owned other toy cars. However, Mark proud of it all, because, it was made in his own car.

Came the moment that awaited. Final championship racing car toy. Each child starts getting on the start line, to drive their cars loudly. At each passage, has prepared four cars, with 4 "driver" kecilnya.Lintasan was circular with four separate lines of them.

However, a moment later. Mark asked for a moment before the race started, he seemed to mumble as if in prayer. His eyes were closed, with the hand that bertangkup prayer. Then, a minute later, he said, "Yes, I'm ready!".

Dor. Signs have begun. With a strong beat. they began to push the car hard. All car that was hurtling. Everyone cheered, excited, car sponsor respectively. "Ayo..ayo ... cepat..cepat, maju..maju", so they shouted. Ahha. .sang winner must be determined, rope track also has terlambai finish. And, Mark is the winner. Yes I Do. everything is happy, so is Mark. He says, and muttering again in the liver. 'Thank you. "

When the division trophy arrived. Mark came forward with pride. Before the cup was handed over, the chairman of the committee asked. "O hero, you must have been praying to God that you win, is not it?". Mark silent. "No, sir, that's not what I prayed" said Mark.

He then went on. "It seems unfair to ask God to help you beat the others." I just pray to God, so I do not cry, if I lose. "All the audience fell silent to hear it. After a while, there was a roar of applause that meet room.

Reflection: The children seem to have more wisdom than all of us. Mark, not to pray to God for victory in every exam. Mark, do not ask God to pass and set any results to be achieved. The boy did not ask God to grant all his hopes, he did not pray to win, and hurt others. However, Mark, pray to God, that given the strength in the face of it all, he prayed, to be given glory, and want to be aware of shortcomings with pride

Perhaps, had a lot of time that we did weeks to pray to God to grant our every request. Too often we ask God to make us number one, to be the best, to be a winner in every exam. Too often we pray to the Lord, to dispel any obstacles and trials that lie ahead. In fact, is not that we need His guidance, His guidance, and guide him?

We are often too weak to believe that we are strong. We often forget, and we often feel maudlin with this life. Is not there a spirit of struggle that would go through? I believe. God gave us a severe test, not to make us weak, whiny and easily give up. Indeed. God is testing every pious His servants. (adapted from irfan-seeds)
